DJI Osmo Mobile 8P is a 3-axis smartphone gimbal designed for smooth video, precise framing, and intelligent tracking. It combines 8th-generation stabilization with a built-in extension rod and tripod. Moreover, the foldable design makes it easy to carry and store.
The gimbal supports smartphones weighing 170–300g, with a width of 67–84mm and thickness of 6.9–11mm. The magnetic phone clamp provides quick attachment, while the gimbal delivers a maximum magnetic force of approximately 40N.
Furthermore, Osmo Mobile 8P supports ActiveTrack 8.0 and the DJI OM Multifunctional Module 2. The module can track people, cats, dogs, and objects. It also provides an adjustable fill light and supports gesture control.
The new Osmo FrameTap provides remote control and live-view functions. It can control the gimbal from up to 10 meters away. In addition, it can display the feed from the Multifunctional Module 2.
The built-in battery provides approximately 10 hours of operation. The gimbal can also charge a connected smartphone through USB-C. Moreover, it supports unlimited 360° horizontal pan rotation and low-angle shooting.
