GravaStar Mercury K98 Pro Phantom Black is a mechanical gaming keyboard with an optimized 98% layout. It has 98 keys and a multifunction control knob. Therefore, it keeps a compact size while retaining a dedicated number pad.
The keyboard uses GravaStar Custom UFO mechanical switches. These switches have a linear design and come pre-lubricated. They also offer a rated lifespan of 70 million keystrokes. In addition, the keyboard supports an 8,000Hz polling rate in wired and 2.4GHz wireless modes.
Furthermore, the keyboard has a 1.65-inch TFT color display. The screen uses a 142 × 428 resolution. It can show system information, keystroke data, and custom animations. The keyboard also features a glossy aluminum alloy exoskeleton.
For connectivity, the Mercury K98 Pro supports three modes. These include 2.4GHz wireless, Bluetooth 5.4, and USB-C wired connection. Moreover, the 8,000mAh rechargeable battery provides up to 228 hours in 1K mode with RGB lighting off. It provides up to 166 hours in 8K mode with RGB lighting off.
The keyboard also features 19 built-in ARGB backlight effects. In addition, it has four ARGB ambient side-light modes. Its five-layer foam gasket structure uses several sound-dampening materials.
The Mercury K98 Pro measures 460 × 170 × 62.5mm. It weighs 1.55kg with batteries. Therefore, it combines a full feature set with fast polling, wireless connectivity, and a built-in TFT display.
