The MSI Katana 17 HX B14WFK-400XPL combines an Intel Core i7 processor with NVIDIA GeForce RTX graphics and a 17.3-inch FHD display. It is designed around a high-refresh-rate gaming configuration with fast DDR5 memory and PCIe Gen4 storage.

Powered by the Intel Core i7-14650HX, the laptop features 16 cores, 24 threads, 30MB Intel Smart Cache, and a maximum turbo frequency of 5.2GHz. In addition, the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5060 provides 8GB of GDDR7 memory with up to 115W graphics power using Dynamic Boost.

The 17.3-inch FHD display delivers a 1920 × 1080 resolution and 144Hz refresh rate. Moreover, its IPS-Level panel uses a matte surface. The system includes 16GB of DDR5-5200 memory in one slot, while two memory slots support up to 96GB.

Storage comes from a 512GB PCIe Gen4x4 NVMe SSD. Furthermore, the laptop provides one M.2 slot for NVMe PCIe Gen4 storage. Connectivity includes Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.3, Gigabit Ethernet, HDMI 2.1, and USB ports.
