Xiaomi 17 is a compact flagship smartphone with a 6.3-inch CrystalRes OLED display. It supports a variable refresh rate from 1Hz to 120Hz. In addition, the screen uses a 2656 × 1220 resolution and reaches 3500 nits peak brightness.

The display supports 12-bit color depth, DCI-P3, HDR10+, and Dolby Vision. Moreover, Xiaomi Shield Glass protects the screen. The touch sampling rate reaches up to 300Hz, while Wet Touch Technology helps maintain touch response in wet conditions.

For photography, the phone features a triple rear camera system. It includes a 50MP main camera, a 50MP telephoto camera, and a 50MP ultra-wide camera. The front camera uses a 50MP sensor. In addition, the phone supports Leica camera features and advanced image processing.

The Xiaomi 17 supports 5G, Wi-Fi 7, and Bluetooth 6.0. It also supports NFC and dual SIM configurations with nano SIM + eSIM. Furthermore, the phone measures 151.1 × 71.8 × 8.06mm and weighs 191g.
